At Datemil Inc., data plays a central role in how we grow our platforms, understand our members, and make better decisions. As an Associate Data Scientist – Marketing, you will help support marketing strategy through data analysis, experimentation, modeling, and performance insights.
This role focuses on helping the Marketing, Growth, and Product teams understand what drives acquisition, engagement, retention, and conversion across our portfolio of platforms. You will work with campaign data, user behavior data, and product metrics to generate insights, build models, and improve marketing efficiency.
The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large datasets, experimentation frameworks, and marketing performance metrics. This role is a great fit for someone early in their data science career who wants to grow in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.

Marketing Analytics & Performance Insights
Analyze marketing performance across paid, organic, and partnership channels.
Measure campaign effectiveness, ROI, CAC, LTV, and conversion performance.
Identify trends that explain changes in acquisition, engagement, or retention.
Support marketing teams with data-driven recommendations.
Experimentation & A/B Testing
Help design, run, and analyze experiments related to marketing campaigns, landing pages, and user flows.
Ensure tests are statistically sound and properly measured.
Interpret results and communicate findings clearly.
Partner with Growth and Product teams to improve experimentation processes.
Data Modeling & Forecasting
Build models that help predict user behavior, campaign performance, and growth outcomes.
Support forecasting for acquisition, revenue, and engagement.
Help identify high-value users and segments.
Assist in developing scoring models for targeting and personalization.
Marketing Attribution & Measurement
Help maintain and improve attribution models.
Work with marketing teams to understand channel contribution.
Ensure tracking and measurement systems are reliable.
Investigate discrepancies in reporting.
Reporting & Dashboards
Build and maintain dashboards for marketing and growth teams.
Automate recurring reports where possible.
Ensure data is accurate, clear, and easy to understand.
Translate complex analysis into simple insights.
Data Pipeline & Data Quality Support
Work with Data Engineering to ensure marketing data is clean and usable.
Help validate new data sources.
Monitor data quality and fix issues.
Support integration of new tracking tools.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Marketing, Growth, Product, Finance, and Engineering teams.
Help turn business questions into data analysis.
Present results in a way that supports decision-making.
Contribute to a culture of data-driven thinking.
AI & Advanced Analytics
Use statistical and machine learning methods where appropriate.
Explore ways AI can improve targeting, personalization, and campaign performance.
Support responsible use of automation and modeling.
Balance advanced techniques with clear business value.
Typically requires 2–4 years of experience in Data Science, Marketing Analytics, Statistics, or a related field, though we welcome candidates with strong academic or project experience.
Strong skills in SQL and experience working with large datasets.
Experience with Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
Familiarity with marketing metrics such as CAC, LTV, CTR, conversion rate, retention, and ROI.
Experience with A/B testing or experimentation frameworks.
Comfortable working with dashboards and visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar).
Understanding of statistics, probability, and data analysis fundamentals.
Ability to explain technical results to non-technical partners.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Curious and eager to learn.
Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
Nice to Have
Experience with marketing attribution models.
Experience with machine learning.
Experience with growth or product analytics.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.).
Experience working with digital marketing data.
