Job Overview
At Datemil Inc., mobile applications are the primary way members experience our platforms. As Lead Mobile Engineer – iOS Platform, you will guide the technical direction of our iOS applications and help build fast, reliable, and scalable mobile experiences across our products.
This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership. You will help define architecture, improve performance, support new features, and ensure our iOS apps remain stable as the platform grows. You will work closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Data teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences that feel smooth, secure, and consistent.
We are looking for a senior engineer who enjoys building modern iOS applications, mentoring other developers, and solving complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities
iOS Development & Architecture
Lead development of iOS applications using modern frameworks and best practices.
Design and maintain scalable mobile architecture.
Ensure clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
Improve performance, responsiveness, and stability.
Technical Leadership
Provide technical direction for iOS development.
Review code and maintain engineering standards.
Help plan projects and define technical solutions.
Mentor engineers and support team growth.
Feature Development & Product Collaboration
Work with Product and Design to build new features.
Translate requirements into reliable technical solutions.
Ensure features meet performance and usability expectations.
Support timely and stable releases.
Performance & Stability
Monitor crash reports and performance metrics.
Fix bugs and reliability issues.
Optimize memory usage and startup time.
Ensure consistent experience across devices.
API & Backend Integration
Integrate mobile apps with backend services.
Work with REST APIs, GraphQL, or similar.
Ensure secure data handling.
Support authentication and user account features.
Modern iOS Technologies
Use Swift and modern iOS frameworks.
Maintain compatibility with supported iOS versions.
Improve build systems and dependencies.
Adopt new tools when they provide value.
Testing & Quality
Maintain unit and integration tests.
Support automated testing.
Improve release quality.
Reduce regressions and production issues.
CI/CD & Release Process
Maintain build and release pipelines.
Support App Store releases.
Manage versioning and rollout strategy.
Ensure safe and consistent deployments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Backend, Web, Data, and Design teams.
Participate in technical planning.
Support new product launches.
Align mobile work with platform goals.
Documentation & Standards
Maintain technical documentation.
Define coding guidelines.
Help onboard new engineers.
Promote clean architecture and best practices.
About the job
Typically requires 6–10 years of experience in iOS or mobile development.
Strong experience with Swift and iOS SDK.
Experience building production iOS applications.
Experience with modern architecture patterns.
Experience integrating APIs and backend services.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Experience mentoring or leading engineers.
Comfortable working in fast-moving environments.
Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading mobile projects.
Experience with SwiftUI or UIKit.
Experience with CI/CD for mobile.
Experience optimizing performance.
Experience with large-scale apps.
