Job Overview

As a Senior Network Operations Engineer – Infrastructure & Reliability, you will help design, operate, and maintain the network and infrastructure systems that support our applications, data, and internal services.
This role focuses on network operations, system reliability, cloud connectivity, and production stability. You will work closely with Engineering, Security, and DevOps teams to ensure our environments remain fast, secure, and available as we scale.
We are looking for someone with strong technical depth in networking and infrastructure, combined with operational discipline and a proactive approach to reliability.

Key Responsibilities
Network Operations & Infrastructure Support
Manage and maintain production network environments.
Monitor system performance, uptime, and connectivity.
Troubleshoot network, routing, DNS, and connectivity issues.
Support on-premise, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure.
Reliability & Production Stability
Help ensure high availability of critical systems.
Respond to incidents and outages.
Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.
Improve monitoring, alerting, and recovery processes.
Cloud & Hybrid Networking
Support cloud networking environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar).
Maintain VPNs, load balancers, firewalls, and routing configurations.
Configure secure connections between services and environments.
Help optimize network performance and cost.
Automation & Operational Efficiency
Automate routine operational tasks.
Improve deployment and configuration workflows.
Support infrastructure-as-code practices.
Reduce manual work through scripting and tooling.
Security & Access Controls
Work with Security teams to maintain network protections.
Implement firewall rules, access controls, and segmentation.
Monitor for unusual activity or vulnerabilities.
Help maintain secure production environments.
Monitoring & Observability
Maintain monitoring tools and dashboards.
Track uptime, latency, and system health.
Improve alerting accuracy.
Ensure visibility across environments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Engineering, DevOps, Security, and Data teams.
Support new product launches and infrastructure changes.
Help design scalable network architecture.
Provide operational guidance during projects.
Documentation & Standards
Maintain network diagrams and documentation.
Define operational procedures.
Support change management processes.
Ensure environments follow best practices.
About the job
Typically requires 5–8 years of experience in Network Operations, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability.
Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, firewalls).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar).
Experience supporting production environments.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
Familiarity with automation or scripting (Python, Bash, etc.).
Comfortable working in fast-moving environments.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to handle incidents calmly and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
Experience with Linux systems.
Experience with container environments.
Experience with load balancing and CDN.
Experience with security best practices.
Experience with high-traffic platforms.
